Who Are Our Members? Our institutional members come from across all Carnegie classifications, representing community colleges, four-year public, private and for-profit institutions. Institutional and academic leadership are key focal points of our research and articles with a majority of our membership in jobs pertaining directly to institutional or academic leadership. Member Statistics

Individual members consist of more than 2100 higher education leaders from more than 900 higher education institutions.

More than 260 members lead their institutions as presidents, chancellors or provost.

About 28% of all members are administrative executives, including presidents, provosts, and chief financial officers.

About 23% of all members are responsible for information technology leadership, learning/academic technology leadership, or both.

About 14% (more than 200) of all members are responsible for leadership of continuing education, professional studies, or distance learning programs.

About 12% of all members are academic deans or faculty leaders.
