Information for Faculty, Students, and Staff

The Alliance for Higher Education Competitiveness (A-HEC) is a non-profit research collaborative working to improve higher education for the benefit of students, faculty, staff, and society.
A-HEC researches best practices and supports open collaboration to help institutions achieve improvement through the unique process of ongoing participatory evaluation. A-HEC focuses on a balanced mix of technical and management disciplines that have the potential to achieve innovation, transformation, and effectiveness.
Participants in the Internet-Supported Learning study have agreed to participatory evaluation based on common success factors and best practices described in the research report "Achieving Success in Internet-Supported Learning in Higher Education: Case Studies Illuminate Success Factors, Challenges, and Future Directions", based on research with twenty-one institutions implementing best practices in online learning.
